Steven V. Melnik LLM, J.D. CPA is an attorney, a tenured professor of law, a distinguished lecturer, a director of graduate tax/estate planning programs at the nation's largest business school. Mr. Melnik's extensive legal practice experience concentrates in the areas of: Estate, Tax, Asset Protection and Pension Planning as well as Medicaid Planning. Mr. Melnik is a former member of the Advisory Group to one of the United States Treasury Department's Subgroups. He has also worked in the assurance practice of Andersen Worldwide, where he was a manager in financial services group. Mr. Melnik gives regular lectures on the above stated topics. In addition he lectures with the senior management of the Social Security Administration office on topics of Retirement and Medicaid Planning. Mr. Melnik had also worked in the Federal Bankruptcy Court, Southern District; The Office of Legal Council, Market Surveillance Division of the New York Stock Exchange; Tax Practice of Deloitte, as well as in the Controller's Group of Merrill Lynch & Co.

Mr. Melnik is a host of a regular nationwide educational television program and has made numerous appearances on many major news networks, such as NBC, CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg. He continues to publish numerous articles in leading academic and professional journals.

Mr. Melnik received his LLM in Taxation degree from New York University School of Law. He received his Jurist Doctor degree from New York Law School, Summa Cum Laude, Law Review. Mr. Melnik has received his BBA degree in Accountancy from Bernard M. Baruch College, Magna Cum Laude. He is admitted to the NY and NJ State Bars and is a licensed CPA in NY State. Mr. Melnik is a member of the New Your State Bar Association's Estate Planning Section.
